The Alaska Constitution Party (ACP) has continued to grow steadily since its inception in October 2010.  It is an official affiliate of the national Constitution Party, and has three national delegate votes.  It took some time before the voter registration forms across the state showed the ACP as a voter registration option.  Many old voter registration forms continue(d) to be used across Alaska.  Latest monthly figures of 10/03/13, show an increase of 4% in membership.  The Constitution Party has been running candidates for President and Vice-President in Alaska since 1992 when founder Howard Phillips first ran.  The Party was then known as the American Taxpayers Party. Preamble The goal of the Constitution Party is to restore American government to its Biblical foundations as enumerated in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States, which together establish a Republic, administered by elected representatives, to protect Life, Liberty and Property under rule of law. Sanctity of Life We affirm the God-given legal personhood of all human beings from fertilization to natural death, without exception. Legalizing the termination of innocent life, born or unborn, is a direct violation of their unalienable right to life. We oppose legalization of euthanasia, infanticide and suicide.
